If you are visiting Rome and want to see as many of the sights as possible then this is the place for you. Within a five to fifteen-minute walk there are attractions such as the Trevi Fountain. The tradition is that visitors should throw a coin into the fountain to ensure a return to Rome in the future. Just a few hundred metres from the Trevi fountain are the Spanish Steps, the widest steps in Europe and one of the city’s most famous attractions. The view from both the top and bottom of the steps is fantastic the area should be visited for its amazing architecture and wide range of shops and cafes. The area is packed with restaurants, cafes, trattorias, boutiques and is home to Italian fashion on the Via Condotti or Via del Corso to name just a few. You are only a ten-minute walk to the magnificent Piazza Popolo that dates back almost two thousand years. Many of the city’s famous sights can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes (Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori or Pantheon). There are numerous buses in the area and the nearest metro stations are Flaminio, Barberini or Spagna.
